TYPES OF IgE MEDIATED FOOD ALLERGY BASED ON SKIN PRICK TEST FOLLOWED BY FOOD PROVOCATION TEST IN EAST JAVA REGION-INDONESIA

Food allergy is medical condition when the immune system mistakenly perceives a particular foods ingredients as dangerous. The differences in incidence and types of food allergens different regions attract researchers to examine that often cause allergies Indonesia because it will help patients clinicians determine be eliminated reduce impact symptoms on patients. This study was conducted know most common IgE-mediated based skin prick followed by provocation test. Our research descriptive retrospective study. Ages 0 18 were represented among 143 samples satisfied inclusion criteria. boy dominated subjects. dominant age subjects 5-10 years. A total 21 (14.7%) had parents siblings with history atopy. showed following eggs (25.2%), chocolate (20.3%), cows milk (18.2%), chicken (17.5%), shrimp (14.7%), fish (12.6%), fruit (10.5%). result concludes children sequence: eggs, chocolate, milk, chicken, shrimp, fish, fruit.
